A pop up salon will be operating all week in Wellington’s Civic square, offering cheap coffee and free haircuts to increase political interest.
One of the women behind the idea Jo Randerson, says they are seeing a real mix of people coming in, some waiting several hours for a haircut.
She says the idea is to help increase the voter turnout in a non-partisan way.
